1st birthday and trip to Chelan, Stehigan, and Leavenworth

We celebrated my first birhtday this past weekend with some of our neighbors and friends. Mommy did an excellent job pulling it all together, with some amazing fruit and veggie plates and other amazing treats. Me-mom's ham sandwiches and deviled eggs were a huge hit as well.

On Sunday, we headed out at first light for Lake Chelan. We had really nice hotel/condo accomodtions with a GREAT view. Here's De-dad chilin' and taking it all in.

I crawled all over, leaving finger prints everywhere! Hooray for hotels with lots of glass!

A float plane took of and landed regularly from right outside our room.

Here's Me-mom up on our veranda.

Here's me and De-dad at one of the Chelan wineries.
Mommy and I checked out the beautiful fish.

I played in the grass while the grown ups ate dinner and sipped fine wine.

Then it was back to the hotel to relax a bit for the evening. What a full day!
I ate Cheerios by the window for breakfast the next morning. We went out to breakfast, where I also ate some of mom's veggie omlet!

On Sunday, we headed over to Leavenworth, WA, to browse the shops and eat a german sausage and bier for lunch.

All and all, it was a great trip!
More photos to come (dad forgot his camera for part of one day)!

Bloomsday

Well, spring has sprung in Spokane! Time for toy playing.
And getting on dad's computer.

And gardening.

I love sunshine.

Here's me and Daddy!

I love grass!

This year was my first Bloomsday. Me and about 51,000 or so of my closest friends went for a jaunt around the streets of Spokane.

It was a cool morning, so you can see I was bundled up.

Here's looking up Doomsday Hill.

And back down Doomsday hill.

And the famous Doomsday Vulture.

We found a great place to play.

Here are people crossing the finish line over the falls.

And us crossing the line.

I hope to run this again in the future!
Thanks for looking,

Uncle Matt came to visit this week.

Thursday and Friday, Dad and uncle Matt installed new lights in the garage, cable in Dad's tool room, new receptacles for Dad's entertainment center, and two new breakers to balance the box.

On Sunday Dad and Uncle Matt went skiing while Mom and I hung around the lodge and watched the closing festivities at Schweitzer Village.
The theme was tropical, so wacky Dad had on his Hawiian shirt in the spirit of the day!

Uncle Matt was standing tough in his North Face Summit Series jacket, which regulated his temperature perfectly. If only it had shoulder pads!

Dad and Uncle Matt did many projects around the house including this wonderful tilework. Here's the "before" shot:
And the "after"shot:

Hope all is well with you!

WHEW, 2009 has been crazy-busy so far! We started off at Meemom and Deedad's in Maryland.

It was great fun and we had lots of laughs.

Here's a shot of me and Meemom hangin' out.

Mom and Dad got jealous, so I took a picture with them, too.

Here's me trying on my new hat that my aunt Aimee handmade for me.

Thanks for checking in!
